Can I access the files on my SOECS Windows account from home?
In short, yes. In order to access the files you have saved in "My Documents"(or the U drive) on your SOECS windows account, you will need to setup a SSH Secure Shell File Tranfer.

Download and install the WinSCP client.

Launch WinSCP.

Enter sftp.engr.ku.edu for host name.
Enter your Exchange account login name into the User Name field.
Enter your password into the Password field.

If it is your first time connecting to the SFTP server you will be prompted to save the servers key. Click Yes.

You should see your local files in the left pane and your remote files in the right pane.
