Biomechanical Engineering   [Department of Mechanical Engineering    School of Engineering    University of Kansas   
Computational Bone Biomechanics Laboratory:
Learned Hall, Room 3102
Approximately 400 sq ft dedicated to computer space for computational modeling bone and analysis of experimental data.  Computers include two high-speed, high-memory NT computers, and two SGI workstations with R12000 processors.  Campus facilities also provide access to an SGI Origin 2000 parallel supercomputer.

   

KU Biomechanics Laboratory:
Learned Hall, Room 2101A
Approximately 1200 sq ft of shared research space, primarily dedicated to experimental studies and data analysis.
Orthopedic Surgery Research Laboratories:
KUMC, Wahl Hall - West, Lower Level
Approximately 2000 sq ft of shared research space, primarily dedicated to surgical dissections, anatomical specimen preparation, experimental studies and data analysis.  Includes the Asher Spinal Instrumentation Laboratory.
Physical Therapy Reserach Laboratories:
KUMC, Wahl Hall - West, Room 5031

Approximately 1500 sq ft of research space used for biological, biochemical and biomechanical experimental studies and data analysis.
