KU Scholarships

The KU School of Engineering has generous scholarships for talented high school seniors who apply by Nov. 1, 2011. These scholarships can be added to the University's awards as well as to scholarships from School of Engineering departments. What do they do?

Mechanical engineers use principles of mechanics and energy to do research and to develop, design, manufacture, and test tools, machines, motors, engines and other mechanical devices. They work on power-producing machines and develop power-using machines. They also work in areas such as medical product development, patent or other law, forensic engineering and engineering sales.
