Architectural Engineering Design I

Capstone engineering design course that includes the analysis, design, and integration of structural, mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems for a commercial, industrial, or institutional building. Prequisites: ARCE 642, 645, and 661, CMGT 500, CE 562 and 563, or consent of the instructor. Fifth year senior standing in architectural engineering.
Required or Elective Course?
ARCE 680, and its mechanical portion, is required for B.S. in architectural engineering students. With adviser and other consent, the course may be an elective for other undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The course is taught annually in the Fall semesters. It is six credit-hours of engineering design.
