PhD

The Doctor of Philosophy program in Mechanical/Biomechanical
Engineering is a traditional Doctoral program that requires candidates
to successfully demonstrate their abilities in a broad spectrum of advanced
mechanical and biomechanical technologies, as well as conduct original
research. To complete this program, candidates must successfully complete
course and research requirements, pass both a Qualifying and a Comprehensive
Exam, and prepare and defend a dissertation. |

MS
|
The Master of Science Program requires a minimum
of 30 hours of graduate work, including six hours in the satisfactory completion
of a thesis. The thesis must be orally defended before the student's Masters
Committee, the other department faculty, and invited guests. |

Undergrad
|
Biomechanics courses
are open to qualifying upper level undergraduate students. In addition,
there are undergraduate research opportunities available in the various
Biomechanics Research Labs for interested students. |
