The Quasi-Static Knee Rig (OKR) can create multi-axis quasi-static loads at the knee joint using dead weights. The rig can apply anterior-posterior (AP) and medial-lateral (ML) forces, and internal-external (IE), adduction-abduction (AA), and flexion-extension (FE) moments at the tibia. Meanwhile, a quadriceps muscle force and knee compressive force are applied at the hip. The rig can be manipulated to perform clinical knee laxity assesments like the Pivot-Shift test. |
